Brighton 1 is a 5 bedroom family home with 3 living zones including a family den, a study/home office, 2 car garage and third carport and a swimming pool. Our clients brief was a home that acted as a canvass for colourful items like furniture/styling hence the mostly white features. The home pays tribute to Palm Springs style in both the house design and landscape design. A feature of the home is the sheer walls of glass with structural columns outside of the glass walls to keep the space open between inside and out. Lineal features such as the painted curved batten wall when you enter, the cedar clad ceiling to the family den and clean lines of the floating tread staircase provide beautiful details to this open plan home. This home was completed in 15 months.
