Toorak 1 is a 4 bedroom family home with 2 living zones, a study, theatre room, wine cellar, 3 car basement, swimming pool and gym. Our clients brief was a home that utilised as much of the land space as possible whilst creating an intimate private courtyard/pool space. The home is characterised by the use of Grey Tundra stone which is mechanically fixed on the front façade as well as the indoor and outdoor floors even running throughout the pool. A feature of the home is the cantilevered outdoor ceiling which acts as an alfresco cover but also part of the master bedroom balcony. Whilst the garden to the first floor master bedroom window is a highlight bringing greenery onto the first floor spaces. This home was completed in 18 months.
