Glen Iris is a 4 bedroom family home with 3 living zones, a study, 3 car garage and swimming pool. Our clients brief was a home built around a central garden courtyard with floor to ceiling glazing allowing natural light through all areas of the home. The use of open voids to allow sunlight to come through the architecture was a key feature of the front porch and rear alfresco as to was the use of timber on the flush tilt garage door and pivot front door. The large open space hallway acts as a transition between quiet living zones including the study and the entertainment zones towards the rear. This home was completed in 15 months.
