Brighton 2 is a 4 bedroom family home with a 4 car basement, swimming pool and gym. Our clients brief was a home full of natural light designed around a central courtyard that was stepped down from the inside of the home. The home is characterised by the large first floor form that cantilevers both the front and back of the house constructed in polished render. The house feels larger in floor area on ground level due to the amount of glass windows which opens the spaces up to each other. A feature of the home is the custom built staircase with floating treads and 6m high window in the background. This home was completed in just under 20 months.
