Beaumaris is a 4 bedroom family home with 2 separate living spaces, swimming pool, pool house and 2 car garage. Our client’s brief was a home full of natural light designed with a double heighted void in the living room. The home is built around spaces that have views of the landscape blurring the lines between inside and outside living. The central courtyard with fishpond is viewed from not only the main hallway but also the master bedroom and butler’s pantry. Tiles are used throughout the home as the main material being mechanically fixed to the facade, front fence, inside floor and outside paving around pool. Powder coated aluminium blades break up the vast amount of glazing to give visual effect but also act as sun shades
