Doncaster 1 is a 3 bedroom family home with 2 living spaces and 2 car semi-recessed basement. Given the property was a corner block our clients brief was a home that was aesthetically pleasing from both angles of the streetscape. The use of what appears to be boxes on top of one another with windows breaking up the transitions was used with grey concrete render and black aluminium forming the basis of the external materials. Key features of the home are the open plan indoor/outdoor transition whilst keeping a flat look when in the home even though the block is heavily sloped. This home was completed in 15 months.
